Smart-ID itself has no age restrictions for its users – but age limits have been set by identity providers and depend on the Smart-ID account type and authentication method chosen.

Smart-ID accounts for users under 18 years old also require a parent authorization.

** = Both the minor and the parent need to visit the bank office together. For SEB, it applies to all minors. For Swedbank, it applies to minors under the age of 16.
