6 Steps to Having the Sex Life You Really Want
Are you happy with your sex life? Are you the kind of guy who watches the actor in the movie make love to one woman after another without one little misstep and wonder why that’s not you? Or are you just too afraid to think outside the box and you would rather settle for the regular lovemaking session rather than try even the slightest deviation from the norm? It really boils down to what you consider to be the sex life you really want, and these days with ED medications like Viagra available there’s really no excuse for not turning your bedroom dream into a reality.
It doesn’t matter what kind of sex life you have right now, the question you have to ask yourself is do you have the sex life that you really want? Not everyone can be as suave as a movie actor and not everyone is interested in swinging from the chandelier.
If you are not happy with the way things are going in the bedroom there are some things you can do to get things moving in the right direction.
- Get a Physical
Got to your primary care physician and have a thorough checkup. Your blood work will show if you are pre-diabetic, have cholesterol problems, and if there are any other areas that you may be lacking in. Have your testosterone levels checked. Your blood pressure will be checked right away and if you have high blood pressure you will probably receive a prescription for medication to bring it down. Make sure you take it or you will be at risk for a stroke.
If you have any abnormal issues regarding urinating, make sure you let your doctor know, it could be the beginnings of prostate problems. Make sure you have all of the tests done that are appropriate for your age group. Men from the age of 40 and up should have a complete cardio workup. Heart problems can sneak up on you and some people are not lucky enough to get any warning signs.
- Lose Weight
Once you have your health concerns situated, check with your doctor to see if you are considered overweight. Most people don’t need to ask their doctor, they already know if they need to lose a few pounds. If you are obese you need to lose weight not only to have a great sex life but so you don’t begin to see the effects of it through diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Besides the health issues, another obvious reason to lose weight is so you feel comfortable and look good during sex. You don’t have to look like a model but as long as you feel good that is what is important.
- Take your vitamins
Your doctor will let you know if you need to add any vitamins to your daily regime. Any of the B vitamins will help keep your moods on an even keel and vitamin D is growing in importance for many health reasons.
- Find the right partner
If you just want to have movie star sex you can try out your moves on the gamut of women who are interested in having sex with you. But if you are interested in a solid relationship where you both grow together and there is a basis of love to work from, finding the right person could take time but it is worth it.
- Be open to new things
When you are with the right person make sure you are both on the same page and are willing to try new things. Keep it interesting so that it never becomes mundane. If you both keep it interesting it will always be fun and you will both be more interested in seeing what new moves you can try out.
- Get a little help from a little blue friend
Don’t be afraid to try Viagra, especially in the beginning of a new relationship. You are already going to be a little apprehensive and knowing that you don’t have to worry about having an erection can take a lot of the pressure off so you can actually enjoy the experience.
Whatever you can do to create the sex life you really want make sure you do it – you deserve it!
